1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of GuildMesh, including its Discord application, website, portal, community tools and related services. By installing, authorising, accessing or using GuildMesh, you agree to these terms.
You must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and any rules set by the Discord servers or communities in which you use GuildMesh.
2. The GuildMesh service
GuildMesh is a connected World of Warcraft guild and community management platform. It provides community administration, event and raid signups, Mythic+ and group finding, invite and crafting requests, player and public community profiles, recruitment, Community Connections, Premium seasonal planning and Warcraft Logs-derived raid analysis.
Optional World of Warcraft integrations can connect Battle.net account or public guild data and enrich characters or guilds with Raider.IO data. These integrations are provided to support GuildMesh features and do not make GuildMesh an official Blizzard, Battle.net, Raider.IO, Warcraft Logs or Discord service.
Features may be added, changed, suspended or removed as GuildMesh develops. Some features are currently provided as beta functionality and may contain faults, interruptions or incomplete behaviour.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country and be permitted to use Discord. When installing or configuring GuildMesh for a Discord server, you confirm that you have authority to manage that server and grant the permissions requested.
4. Discord accounts and permissions
GuildMesh uses Discord OAuth2 for sign-in. You are responsible for the security of your Discord account and for actions carried out through it.
Only grant GuildMesh the permissions required for the features you intend to use. Community owners and administrators are responsible for configuring role access, channels, visibility and moderation controls appropriately.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use GuildMesh to:
- break any law, Discord policy or third-party right;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit or deceive another person;
- publish unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative or malicious content;
- send spam, run scams, distribute malware or attempt unauthorised access;
- interfere with GuildMesh, probe its security, evade rate limits or misuse its APIs;
- collect, expose or misuse another person's data without a lawful basis;
- reverse engineer or copy GuildMesh except where applicable law expressly permits it.
We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms, Discord's rules, or the safety of users or the service are at risk.
6. User and community content
You retain ownership of content and information you submit. You grant GuildMesh a limited permission to process, display and transmit that content only as needed to operate the features you choose to use.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit or publish through GuildMesh is accurate, lawful and suitable for the audience and visibility settings selected. Community owners and authorised administrators are responsible for public Community Profile content, recruitment information, news, events and other material they choose to publish. GuildMesh does not endorse content submitted by users or communities.
GuildMesh may let authorised users add links to externally hosted content, including raid POV recordings. GuildMesh stores and displays the link and associated label or raid/pull association; it does not host the external recording itself. The submitting user or community is responsible for ensuring the linked content is lawful and appropriate, and the external provider applies its own terms and availability rules.
Raid analytics, progression and After Action Reports may be derived from third-party combat-log data such as Warcraft Logs. Results depend on the completeness and accuracy of the source data and should not be treated as an authoritative record where the underlying report is incomplete, unavailable or later changed.
7. Third-party services and game data
GuildMesh depends on services operated by third parties, including Discord, Blizzard/Battle.net and Raider.IO. Their own terms, developer policies and privacy rules apply to their services and data. GuildMesh is an independent service and is not endorsed by or affiliated with those providers unless expressly stated otherwise.
When you choose to connect Battle.net, GuildMesh may use Blizzard OAuth and World of Warcraft APIs to verify account/character ownership and retrieve data Blizzard makes available to the authorised application. Community administrators may also connect public Battle.net guild data such as guild identity, roster and achievements. Raider.IO may be used to enrich characters or guilds with progression information and links, and public-facing Raider.IO data must retain appropriate attribution/linking.
You must not use GuildMesh to circumvent third-party privacy controls, scrape or republish data in a way prohibited by the source provider, or represent GuildMesh-derived verification as proof of identity beyond the account/character relationship the integration actually confirms. Third-party APIs may change, restrict, revoke or stop access at any time; GuildMesh is not responsible for resulting loss of enrichment, verification or synchronisation.
8. Availability, changes and beta features
GuildMesh is provided on an “as available” basis. We aim to keep the service reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage of content, or that every feature will be error-free.
During beta testing, data structures and features may change. Community administrators should keep their own records where loss would cause significant disruption.
9. Premium, subscriptions and payments
GuildMesh offers optional paid Premium access for Discord communities. Premium is community-wide: a subscription funded for a specific Discord community benefits that community, rather than creating a personal Premium licence for the payer.
- the current standard Premium price is shown before checkout and may be subject to VAT or other applicable taxes based on the customer's location;
- Premium subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, and the renewal amount and billing frequency are shown before payment is confirmed;
- payments are processed by Stripe. GuildMesh does not receive or store full card numbers, CVC values or full bank-account credentials;
- Premium time funded for a community remains with that community if the payer later leaves. Premium time is not transferable between communities or user accounts;
- multiple eligible contributions may stack. During Open Beta, paid Premium time may be banked rather than consumed while Premium access is otherwise free;
- if paid Premium expires, Premium-only presentation and access controls may revert to GuildMesh defaults. Saved Premium configuration, including community website themes, layouts, custom pages and seasonal planning data, may be retained so it can be restored or reviewed on a later subscription, subject to the Privacy Policy and normal retention rules;
- if a payment is refunded, reversed, disputed or charged back, associated Premium time or entitlements may be corrected to reflect the payment status.
Cancellation and consumer rights
You can cancel an active recurring subscription using the billing-management controls provided through GuildMesh and Stripe. Cancellation stops future renewals; access already paid for will normally remain available for the applicable paid period or as banked community time, unless a refund, reversal or legal requirement changes that position.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights you have under UK consumer law. Where a statutory cancellation, refund or other remedy applies, those rights take priority over these terms. Information about the service, total price, taxes, recurring billing and cancellation is presented before a subscription is confirmed.
Open BetaPremium features are currently available free during Open Beta. A paid subscription made during this period funds Premium time for the selected community, which is banked for use when paid Premium becomes active.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using GuildMesh at any time and may remove the application from your Discord server. We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect users, comply with law, respond to Discord, maintain service security, or enforce these terms.
Requests to delete personal data can be made through the official GuildMesh support server. Some minimal records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance or the establishment of legal claims.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuildMesh is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from every defect. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
GuildMesh is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss caused by third-party services, or loss resulting from community configuration, moderation decisions or user-submitted content, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as GuildMesh changes or where legal, security or platform requirements change. The latest version will remain publicly available on this page, with the effective date shown above.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
